CrewProtect™ 100 is a self-contained and comprehensive air decontamination system for enclosed apparatus cabs that reduces the three significant air contaminants firefighters face each day: volatile organic compounds (VOCs), particulates, and aerosols).

Description

The 12 VDC CrewProtect 100 is suitable for medium and large fire apparatus vehicles, ambulances, or similarly sized vehicles. An easy-to-read LED light indicates when the cartridge needs to be replaced.

MULTI-THREAT CAB AIR DECONTAMINATION UNIT

  • Task Force Tips model # CC-300 CrewProtect™ 100 air decontamination system shall be provided.
  • The patent pending multi-stage air decontamination unit shall be compact for mounting in the cab of new and in-service emergency apparatus.
  • The unit shall purify the air by reducing particulates and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs).
  • The Crew Protect 100 shall also reduce aerosols carrying viruses and bacteria by over 99%.
  • The unit can be mounted horizontally, vertically, or inverted using the provided mounting brackets.
  • The system connects to 12 volts DC, only drawing 2 amps, and runs whenever the apparatus is operating.
  • The unit shall have an air flow rate of 100 CFM (2.83 cubic m/min) and operate at 60.2 decibels, below the NFPA maximum of 90 decibels.
  • The unit shall exchange the air every 3-1/2 minutes in an average apparatus cab of 350 cubic feet (9.9 cubic meters).
  • The unit shall be in a protective steel case that is powder coated charcoal grey inside and out.
  • The unit shall be 20” long, 12” wide and 4-1/2” tall (508 x 305 x 115 mm).
  • A single replacement cartridge element # CC-305 uses RFID technology to assure correct replacement cartridges are installed.
  • The unit will not operate unless the correct RFID cartridge is installed, providing protection for the crew.
  • The current condition of the cartridge is tracked by three LED lights (green, amber, and red) on the prominent face of the unit.
  • The unit shall have a unique serial number and be covered by a three-year warranty.
